Precise – but still tolerant – we know how to apply just the right force

EBERHARD’s systems assemble your contacts horizontally – that means gently conducting the contacts in the in-line assembly process. We don’t grip; we do precision guidance.

This is the reason why we can talk about tolerant in-line assembly in spite of punching forces ranging up to 12 kN and in-line assembly forces of 800 N.

Precision means as many as 860 tightly assembled contacts, or processing microcontacts 0.18 mm thick and only 1.2 mm long, with a pitch of 0.4 mm.

If tolerance and precision seem to be at odds with extremely high forces, at EBERHARD that’s our day-to-day work.
